Promoting sustainability across our value chain
At BUMAX, we strive to reduce the environmental impact of our own operations. For example, we only source renewable electricity and have a target to recycle 90% of our waste.
In our supply chain, we evaluate suppliers based on their performance in terms of energy consumption, raw materials, waste and recycling – in line with our targets. We also ensure that 100% of our suppliers abide by the Bufab Supplier Code of Conduct.
Sustainability leadership
We follow the sustainability strategy and policies of our parent company Bufab, with a focus on climate, circularity and ethics. Bufab has received EcoVadis Platinum and publishes a Sustainability Report each year.
