BUMAX 109 provides a strength equivalent to 10.9 carbon steel. The grade’s corrosion resistance makes it suitable for many marine applications and other uses that require both high strength and good corrosion resistance.
BUMAX 109 has the same material composition as BUMAX 88 but undergoes different manufacturing processes to provide even higher strength.
