BUMAX DX 149 is the ultimate choice for demanding applications that require very high strength, good ductility and high corrosion resistance. The grade offers a higher performance alternative to coated 12.9 high-tensile carbon steel fasteners and is more cost-effective than expensive nickel-based alloy and titanium fasteners.
BUMAX DX 149 offers a tensile strength of min 1,400 MPa and a yield strength of min 1,260 MPa, while ensuring good elongation. It also offers excellent corrosion resistance with a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of >34.
