BUMAX Lock is an all-metal lock nut made from the BUMAX® 88 stainless steel grade that ensures joint preload integrity.
BUMAX Lock has a specially designed thread profile that locks it tight, distributing stresses evenly along the entire nut thread. This ensures a better preload distribution and greater gripping strength.
The nut is free-spinning when threading onto a bolt, which allows faster, more accurate, and easier mounting, especially in automated assembly applications. BUMAX Lock is available in a flange version M6 to M12 (M6-M12) and a collar version from M12 to M20 (M12-M20).
IMPORTANT: ensure proper locking; BUMAX Lock must be assembled with the collar down.
