BUMAX Lock is an all-metal lock nut made from the BUMAX® 88 stainless steel grade that provides high gripping strength.
BUMAX Lock has a specially designed thread profile that locks when it is tightened to distribute the stresses evenly along the entire nut thread. This ensures a better load distribution with greater gripping strength.
The nut is also free spinning when threading on a bolt, which allows fast, accurate and easier mounting, especially in automated assembly applications. BUMAX Lock is available in a flange version from M6-M12 and collar version in diameters M12-M20.
IMPORTANT: To achieve the correct locking function, BUMAX Lock must be assembled with the collar down.
